Cold Weather Liner Jacket

This jacket is based on an archival cold weather liner from our archive. Reinterpreted for modern use with a water resistant taffeta shell and a soft moleskin collar. The idea came from the desire for a versatile, lightweight layer that functions as both a standalone outer piece and a thermal mid-layer, while keeping the iconic aesthetics of vintage military garments.

The fabric, made in Fukui, Japan, is a technical taffeta woven and finished to give a special wrinkled texture and handfeel. This process evokes the character of vintage military nylon while providing modern water resistance. The interior features a heavy British cotton check lining with a durable anti-pill finish and mid-weight 80gsm padding for warmth.
